After extensive discussions with WISE, we have made the decision to transition The Funded Trader account to withdrawal-only status, immediately following the deposit made yesterday. This means that TFT will no longer be able to process payouts through WISE.
Additionally, WISE is in the process of refunding some of the transactions that had already been sent. While this situation is disappointing, it also marks a step towards resolution for the challenges TFT has faced with WISE.
As a prop firm, we are now prepared to embrace cryptocurrency as we move forward. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this transition.
The Funded Trader Important Payout Update
For all payouts that were unsuccessful via WISE on the following dates: 9/7, 9/11 – 9/15, 9/18 – 9/22, 9/25 – 9/26, The Funded Trader (TFT) will be taking one of the following two actions:
If your account was already enabled for trading, TFT will reach out to you directly to obtain a crypto address for sending your payout.
If your payout is still in pending status, TFT will reject the payout. In this case, you can request a new payout via crypto. Your account will be immediately enabled for trading, and then the payout will be processed.
Moving forward, TFT will exclusively offer payouts through cryptocurrency options such as USDC, USDT, ETH via ERC20, and BTC. There will be no maximum withdrawal limit for crypto payouts.
TFT acknowledges that there are certain countries unable to accept cryptocurrency. As a result, they are actively exploring alternative payout methods for the longer term, which may include options like Skrill, Rise, Plane, and Payoneer.
Furthermore, direct bank wire withdrawals will not be available due to the high volume of daily payouts, which could potentially trigger a review of their bank account. TFT’s top priority is ensuring short-term stability, and crypto payments are the chosen solution. The firm is committed to expeditiously processing all pending payouts and aims to clear as many as possible by the end of this week. Additionally, the payouts team will be working through the weekend to expedite payouts.
